Granted, he is a tremendously gifted receiver, but if Boldin believes he can produce the same type of statistics no matter what team he plays for, he is off the mark. He’s currently attempting to force the Cardinals to trade him, but without Larry Fitzgerald drawing major attention on the other side of the field and Kurt Warner’s laser accurate passes, he will find life just about anywhere else a bit more difficult. However, he’s still worthy of at least WR2 status wherever he plays.

This guy is a gamer and fantasy stud to boot. If the Bears found some way to get this cat on their team they would be an early season favorite heading into 2009. Lots of experts say he probably will not be a Card next year; from a fantasy standpoint he will excel in any offense and be a fantasy force.

Boldin hasn’t been moved yet by Arizona, but the longer the team goes without extending him, the more likely it become that he will play elsewhere in 2009. Regardless of where he lands, however, Boldin is an elite receiver with all the tools; he can break the big play, and he can make the tough catch in the end-zone. He can run the drag, and he can run the fade. Injuries have held him back over the years, but he should be the first receiver taken after the very elite.

I’m going to assume that he’s going to be with the Cardinals come 2009; although that certainly can change. He wants out pretty badly. If he’s still with Arizona, look for his production to go up a tick, as he will not miss games next year with a jaw injury like the one he had last season.

A mere 84 receptions, 1,083 yards, 7 touchdowns; those are Boldin’s average season totals for his six year career and yet thanks in part to playing alongside Larry Fitzgerald and a history of injuries (16 career games missed) he remains one of the most underrated stars. While others are over paying for lesser talent, Boldin will likely again be a steal this season.

How can you not trust a guy that breaks his face and comes back strong in the same season? Anquan may be the second option for the Cards’, but he is a true #1 for your fantasy team! Arizona passes frequently, plays their home games in the sun and are in the weakest division in all of football. Make sure he is near the top of your WR list!

Being a new writer to Fantasy Football Trader, I have yet to profess my love for Anquan Boldin. The man does everything on the football field and warrants a contract just below that of Larry Fitzgerald. With the resigning of Kurt Warner, who just chucks the ball, you can draft Boldin as a No. 1 receiver for yet another season. My prediction is that he stays in Arizona even without a new contract. He’s a trooper.

Everyone in Arizona is saying the right things, but I am not optimistic that Boldin will be flying with the Cardinals next year. But for laughs, let’s pretend for a moment that he will. Boldin has a very good relationship with Kurt Warner, and that alone should be enough to guarantee that he’ll put up solid numbers as your number two receiver. Red zone looks will likely drop some now that Kurt Warner has a figurative ATM in Larry Fitzgerald. Okay, pretend time over. Come see me again when Boldin is traded for an updated take.

News resurfaced again yesterday that Arizona is willing to cut bait with Anquan if the price is right. As of this writing, he's a Card and my take will reflect such. But I'm with Frank, to think he's a plug-n-play bona fide #1 without Warner and Fitzgerald is woefully underestimating the potential impact of "situation" on a player's bottom line. Like I said, the numbers below are assuming status quo and I'd be prepared to shave them by 30% if trade winds blow him into a fantasy wasteland.
